Every month we hold a Family Service specifically aimed at families, but for all ages. Here are some of the services we have recently held.
Lots of children came to the Crib Service on Christmas Eve. Some came ready dressed, others enjoyed dipping into our dressing-up box. Sue told the story of Jesus's birth.

There was a great turn-out for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Fete which was held in the Parish Field. We were very lucky with the weather - thank The Lord. The W.I. provided a Washing-Line Hoopla game. The Royal British Legion brought ice-creams. Face-painting was provided by Edington Under-5s. The Gardening Club brought plants. The Parish Hall committee provided cream teas in the churchyard and Liz Pike taught us a Morris Dance! There were games, activities, races and a tug-of-war. All in all it was a village-wide afternoon of fun to celebrate Her Majesty's Jubilee.

We had a really enjoyable Crib Service on Christmas Eve, featuring Patch the Donkey and musical contributions from Tinhead Handbells. We also had a fabulous response to the challenge to bring Christmas Scarecrows to the service.

For reasons we all know, we had to hold the Carol Service in the churchyard this year. There was a warm atmosphere, despite the chilly breeze. We enjoyed a great mix of music from the church organ and Berry Road Brass.
